Today was the pilot test of the Pre-School Combat Dengue Module. There were around 32 kids in the kindergarden and few teachers. I was one of the speakers who spoke for the sharing session with the kids about "Have you heard about Dengue Fever" and "Have you been sick". While other members carried out their activities with the children, I was in charged of taking photos.
From the fieldwork today, I realised that kids will easily lose their attention and we will need to grab their attention from time to time. It was a great way to divide them into small group of 4.
Besides, I aware that kids from age 3 to 6 learn things more rapidly. Thus, it was a good thing to educate them the knowledge of Dengue Fever and increase the awareness among the children.
Also, team spirit is the crucial for this fieldwork too. The teamwork between group leader- Zheng Lin, the secretary Siti, and the members has made everything went smoothly.
I am pleased that we have successfully completed the pilot test. I appreciate each and every one that involved in it. :)
Good job students. You did great, especially Rais and Ah Chen who lead d team.
