During last lecture, my group ( Group 6 ) had been informed to carry out our social engagement in Tadika Blok F. There are a total of 14 children in Tadika Blok F. After knowing this through our class rep-Rais, I am feeling nervous and scare that I can't do it well.
For today class, we had our group discussion in Kolej Kediaman 1. During the discussion, we highlight out the things that we need to prepare for every activity according to the module given. The things that we need to prepare includes name tag, poster and so on. Then, each of us choose one job to do. My job is to search the AEDES picture for coloring via Internet.
In addition, we also received a lot of materials that can advances us in preparing the things that we might need while we carry out social engagement in Tadika Blok F. The materials include wastebasket, glue, manila card, marker pen, crayon and etc.
We have our group discussion for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. For me, I enjoy this social engagement class and I believed that life lessons are taught to all of us at a young age, especially in kindergarten. Each year we grow older, we build on top of this knowledge, adding more experiences and expertise to each of these life lessons.
Lastly, I do not have a lot of experiences in teaching children, but i will try my best to make it prefect. Besides, I do hope that we could help creating awareness on dengue among the preschool children as there is increasing people suffer from dengue nowadays.
