22th October 2015 was supposedly to be the D-day for our main event. Unfortunately due to the severe haze, the government has given out a notice to pre-schools and schools in Selangor to close down the schools for the day. Following that, the event was cancelled and postponed to another date which is yet to be confirmed. With heavy hearts, we accepted the unpredictable situation and continued with our classes for today.

As being the person in charge for the event's food, me and Li Wei have discussed with Dr. Shuhada about the bundles of food that we have bought for today's event. Since the food is approaching towards the expiry date, we have no choice but to distribute them amongst us which made the QS students happy. It was better that way rather than making the food go to waste and left rotted.

This experience by far opened my eyes and allowed me to reflect upon oneself about the life of being in the business world especially for the food merchants. Everyday's profits depend on the number of customers buying their goods. Come to think of it, what if they aren't able to attract any customers at all? Can they have any profit margin? Only an increasing loss is stated in their financial account. Hence, lesson learnt. Try being more grateful and thank God that we are living in a comfortable life.
