On 29th October 2015, our group has been collaborated with group 2 to conduct the #MsiaEndsDengue at Tadika Universiti Malaya. 24 students has been involved which are 5 and 6 years old. This program is aim the pre-school students about the awareness of dengue and Aedes around them.
We have to conduct several types of games as the way to let them know about the dangerous of dengue. There are sharing session, get to know Mr. Aedes, Doc. Mcstuffin, waste disposal, field trip and detective game.
The first activity held was sharing session. We introduce to them about Aedes and dengue. As well as, we run the session in two-ways communication as it is easier for them to understand what we talk about. They also can ask us anything they do not understand. after we share the knowledge, we asked them to draw the image of Aedes.

Second activity is ‘get to know Mr. Aedes’. We show to them the process with some figures on how Aedes can be produced. To make it more interesting, we make a board with a cycle of the process. So that, they can catch up well.
After that, we run the Doc. Mcstuffin game inside the kindergarten.   The game gave them the experience on how a doctor identify any illness from the patient.
On waste disposal game, they have to throw some rubbish into the dustbin based on what type of rubbish. There are 4 different type of dustbin such as bottles, plastic, paper and aluminium can.

Detective game and field trip was ran together at the outside area of the kindergarten. Before the game started, we put some bottles, plastic and used paper around the area. Then, the students have to find the waste materials and mark on paper according to type of waste materials they found.
