Today, our group will carry out our social engagement through Malaysia Islamic Children Fair (MICF) in Shah Alam Convention Center from 2 to 5pm. Around 11am in the morning, our group members are gathered in Kolej Kediaman Pertama, University of Malaya. After all the members reached, we depart to Shah Alam Convention Center together by cars.
We arrived at there around 12pm, then we had our lunch together. After that, we start our works in The Teddy Bear Hospital on 2pm. One of my group member, Dura and I are in-charged of the registration counter. Our job is basically record the kids' name for registration. After that, we asked the kids to pick a teddy bear and then give a name to the teddy bear that had been chosen. A name tag are given to the kids too. Then, the kids will go to the Station 1 to see a doctor concerning about their sick teddy bears.
There are a lot of children here. By volunteering in this programme, I got an opportunity to practice communication skills with children. It is actually very fun. I hope that I could join this programme next time.
