Today class was mainly conducted by Dr Dalila from IM4U. She presented to us about the module that were given to us after the first class. I like the way that she presented as she was trying to get our attention by asking question around. Also, she also taught us some ways that would make it easier for us to communicate with the children because we are going to visit the pre schools. Next, she even chose few person from us to do the role play between a child and an adult in order to preview the real situation. I was chosen to be the adult in the role play. I was quite shocked as I was the camera girl for the class. I used the way that I communicate with my students last time to complete the role play but not sure whether it works for the pre schools' kids.
Before the class ended, we were given a task to brainstorm some idea in addition to the module. I was sitting down with my group mates (group 4) and gave some ideas. Eventually, we came out with 3 ideas which are making of mosquitoes puzzle, clapping hands as attention getter and story telling with Q&A. After the short discussion, each group sent one representative to present their ideas.
From the class. I've learned that we must be patient in communicating with children and to apply psychology in daily lives. Also, team work is very important as everyone is having different ideas and thinking. I hope for the incoming activities I could learn more values.
